Five star service from beginning to end. Well worth the 1 hour drive it took to get there. Fred is an absolute pleasure to do business with. Just like with all dealers, you need to independently verify statements made by the salesmen. For example: "lighter color interior in hybrid cars are more fuel efficient and if you are buying a hybrid, it will be more marketable". I asked my son to look it up on the internet and that statement turned out to be patently false. The salesman was trying to sell us a specific car with light colored interior probably because it was sitting in the lot for a while. When we asked for another car with dark interior, he offered us a discount on this car.
You still need to do your due diligence about the car you buy. You also need to make sure that the features you are looking for are in the car that you finally buy.
Their service is expensive, but generally good and convenient. Loaner cars are convenient and if they mess up something they fix it immediately and compensate it with something free thrown in.
You also need to be very very firm when discussing the price for a trade-in. Once you think you are going to purchase the car, they give you a price that is a lot less than Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds stated trade-in price for that car.
Lexus of Northoborough is an outstanding facility. Though you pay a little more (it is Lexus after all) it is well worth it. I needed a relatively large service for my car, and the advisor Jonathan Miller not only explained all my options in detail, he made sure I was comfortable with my decisions. Not only that but he was always available when I had questions either by phone or email. Everyone form when you walk in the door to technicians out back- all extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
Since the beginning from walking in to Lexus of Northborough and coming back to pick up my car two days later happy with there service, I want to leave a very special thank you to Master Service & Parts Director Joel Lobov and Master Service Consultant Jonathan Miller for answering all my questions and making me feel welcomed. Every little thing adds up and I noticed it all and I felt comfortable which with no doubt kept me satisfied with my visit at Lexus. Other than these, the experience itself is made to feel luxurious and comfortable. As dealers go, this is one of the better ones in the area.
